I was totally shocked to see a complete beginner's set for such a low price. And if you think "you get what you pay for", let me tell you that all the parts in this kit is made of top quality material. The guitar itself looks great. The frets feel great. The strings are good. The 3 different picks are nice. The amp is loud. It's just great. I'm just starting to learn, but I can see myself going a long way with this set. I just plainly love it! Highly recommended!

My son loves this guitar! It's his first, and the kit included everything needed to get him started. It's a great value for the price. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star rating was due to the amp speaker. Other reviews had overly bragged about how wonderful it was, but seems a little small to me. I actually got my shipment a day earlier than expected -thanks Amazon!!! Over all a very nice looking guitar, the color is very nice (I got the Grey Silver package.) Not knowing any thing about guitars, never having even picked one up, I had my brother (who has been playing for over 20 years) and his son (who has been playing over 10 years)look at the guitar to get their opinion. At first they could not get it to hold tune, but with their knowledge they finally got it. So if your a beginner I hope you have access to someone who knows about tuning, I am very thankful I did. Once they got the guitar tuned both of them played it, and said "it is a great beginning guitar"(which is what it is advertised as). Told me that once I learn to play I may want to look into spending some money for a "good" guitar, but over all from an experienced musician(s), this is a great buy especially for the price. As far as the amp, I didn't really ask them about the amp, I think it sounds good, very clear and crisp. It is small and compact which makes storage very easy as well as for travel. The canvas bag is okay, it is what I expected (for the price I paid for the package) and will do okay for this guitar. Am sure that once I get better at playing and purchase a more pricy guitar will also buy a good case/cover.One thing that I will suggest for those of you buying this package is to invest in an electronic tuner. The package says you get a tuner, but you get a pitch pipe. I actually ordered the Snark SN-1 Tuner Snark SN-1 Tunerwith the Guitar, but have not gotten it yet. My brother also suggest to get one as well.
So I guess over all a GREAT buy. Fast friendly service from Amazon as always.

Good product, sounds good, great first guitar. Could do better with instructions, especailly as a first guitar. Excellent package for my son! He is just starting classes and this little kit had everything he needs to practice and begin playing.
