This was kind of a splurge for us to buy. I saw it at TJ Maxx for about $7 more than I paid on Amazon. My 5 year old foster daughter loves this toy, even though she cant read and really doesnt get how to play it. My 2 and 4 year old are also entertained by it and play it for the music and pictures. If you are buying it for educational value, I would say that the suitable age range starts at about 4. There is a stylus that you use to play it and it is stored in a wonderful compartment on the side so it isnt going to be easily lost. This toy is fun and for an electronic game, I think it is durable enough to be portable and entertaining for quite a while for a little girl since there are so many games on it.

My daughter got this for a christmas gift and it worked for about 1 day than it stopped. Tried new batteries over and over. Called the company and they sent us a new one. Same thing this time it didn't work at all. The third one came and I called and complained just asking if I could find something else since I have 3 sitting on my counter. They said no because it was over the 30 days. This is a cheap product that does not work at all. I don't complain much if at all but they were rude and I will not ever buy from them again. :(

It will be good for my 5 year old granddaughter; however, the screen is not as big as it appears to be in the picture. Also, it would be nice if the games and all were in various colors. It would make it more exciting and interesting for children.
