My daughter is a bit old for the age recommendation of this bear but she is obsessed with doctor things. I was thinking this bear would be interactive while she was checking it. i.e.: hear a heart beat when you use the stethoscope etc. But the tools don't trigger anything in the bear. You can push the body parts and she will say what the part is, but that is about as far as the education goes. My 20 month old son lost interest in about 5 mins. I will be returning. Its a nice idea and the bear is cute with a sweet voice, she asks for hugs, which both of my kids loved.

My nephew loves him. Only problem is when I cut the etiquette on the side of the teddy bear, the teddy bear opened a little bite so I had to sew it.
Overall a lot of fun for my nephew.

My toddler loves this toy. She has always been terrified of drs and nurses approaching her with stethoscopes or thermometers. With this toy she kind of gets to be hands on in her own little way and get somewhat of an understanding as to what's going on in a playful way. Has turned a negative into a positive in our situation. Besides the medical part of the toy, she loves carrying the bear around everywhere she goes.

I am a single parent of a very smart 2 year old who loves interactive toys, she has numerous other interactive animals she just loves. Well I was hoping to find her a Christmas toy that could be educational as well. I bought this bear at a local store and well its junk!! I gave it to my daughter early full of excitement and it is poorly constructed as thread is coming out, now this isn't the worst part... the worst part is the things you click like the "heart" on its chest takes forever to even work, you have to keep pushing it and pushing it to get it to even work. Then the lovely plastic green band-aid does not even fit the bear, I have to force it on as my daughter cannot even do it!! This bear not only frustrates my 2 year old but myself as well... The only good thing is she likes to check my temp with the thermometer. If you want a doctor kit then I suggest saving your money and buying one in a carrying case and teaching your child yourself!!
