These are great magnets, but they are TINY! I bought these for a third grade science unit on magnetism which requires students to be able to see the north and south poles of a magnet. The poles ARE labeled which is great, but in reading the dimensions, I saw 4 inches and thought they'd be that long. I suppose that's the size of the bag they come in? Or perhaps I just read it wrong, but these magnets are about an inch long. The 100 magnets fit inside a baggie about half the size of a sandwich bag. Great for our lessons, but smaller than I thought.

I bought these because I needed a lot of little magnets for a science experiment. I like that the N and S poles are marked on them for further explanation. They work great, and are sturdy enough that they won't be broken. They ARE small enough for a small child to swallow, so be careful about that!

Got these for the church youth for a project. They are perfect for teaching kids about magnetism, how the poles attract or repel each other. Would buy again.

not powerful but well worth having and inexpensive to get a set of 50 for elementary students to understand and see the attraction and repulsion of poles. I use other magnets for more high powers labs.

These were a little smaller than I had imagined. But they worked great for my son's science project. He was able to fit 5 in one solo cup and got he lima bean sead to grow like crazy.
