Is it worth the price? NO WAY.
They're just thin strips of magnetized plastic. Hard to physically manipulate and just overall cheap. Get the foam ones better!

This homeschooling mom of five and teacher of math at a co op LOVE that these fraction circles come with the percents to match on the flip side....VERY useful when you master fractions and next move on to TA DA!!!! percents and decimals. Really my only beef is that they are rather thin and hard to take off the white magnetic board...the foam ones made by the same company work much better. HOWEVER, for roughly the same price you have to be content with no percentages on the flip side like these do. I personally usually slide them around the board LOL!I feel many products are over priced in the education market simply because they are "educational"
. I am no economics guru...maybe it is due to the fact they do not sell a million of these. I will tell you this..if you buy these and play along side your kid with them ( heck, grab a cookie sheet out of the kitchen, flip it over and you can each have a work area) and work some problems out...they WILL GET IT....so much of day to day math falls in the multiplication, division, fractions, money and percentages area...and MOST kids grow up and STILL struggle with them. Just watch someone attempt to count change back if they are handed a differing amount of money than what they have already rung up on the register....(the look of horror in their eyes would be comical if it wasn't such a sad state of our math in this country)
