The pieces don't meet at the centre. The smaller the fractions are the larger the gap in the middle. When I put the 1/12 pieces together to form a circle I see a distinct, small circular gap. If I compare say a 1/3 piece to a 1/12 piece the radius looks smaller, which should not be the case. Accuracy is important here so I will not recommend.

I would have given 5-stars but the pieces are not plastic. They are heavy cardboard. Regardless of the composite, the colorful and easy to read numbers on the pieces are great for helping children learn fractions and decimals.

I'm a volunteer tutor in third grade, and these fraction pieces are perfect; students enjoy working with them and are learning fractions so easily with these. The cardboard is sturdy, light-weight, and I could afford buying them without breaking the bank. Thanks for providing these -they are a great educational tool. Note: I used to teach math education in college for elementary teachers.
