This product is not a cream or lotion but a stiff consistency that reminds me of pure shea butter. 2 oz will go a very long way. I have several drums including a goatskin djembe, and rub some of the butter into my hands, and play the drums, as well as just moving my hands over the drum head. Good stuff.
