I bought these cards for my preschool age daughter (5) she will be entering kindergarten this fall. The cards are excellent for teaching sight words as well as the definition of the word and how it should be used in a sentence. On one side of the card it shows the picture withe the word underneath and on the flip side it shows the picture again along with a short sentence using the word. She loves them and was able to recognize the words by themselves if the picture was covered. One thing that I would have liked is that the cards were a bit bigger, but it wasn't enough of a problem for me to rate them lower. They come in a nice little box for storage and the cards are color coded by subject which I like. Overall it was an excellent buy and well worth the money spent and my daughter has enhanced her vocabulary as well as her recognition of more words.

My son is 3 years old, but I feel that he already could identify a portion of the cards. However, several of the cards would still challenge him and the cards even add the element of building a sentence around the word, which is definitely above his level. My son loves to use flash cards and I am really looking forward to using the cards for the next few years as his language and abilities develop.

I'm very pleased with the quality of these cards. Photo quality prints help children to learn better. However, some of the categories could have more cards. Eg. For emotions, instead of such "happy" and "sad". Maybe can include others like "surprised" , "fearful" , etc

The word is nice. The meaning behind the word is well explain. I like the flash card alot; however, if the card is bigger and the word is larger, that would be more preferable.

The cards themselves are great however, the cards are as big as a sticky note. Great for younger kids though.
