We received the purple "cow" as part of a shower gift for our daughter. She just turned 4-months and this toy is her favorite. We give it to her in her car seat when we are on a trip around town. All you hear from the back seat is "crinkle crinkle crinkle" as she grips the many parts that make noise (which is every part of him -the head, arms, torso and legs all have crinkle in them). We also clip the top ring on her activity gym or Tiny Love Take Along Arch (another great item for this age).
I have put it in the washing machine in a delicates bag many times and it comes out perfectly! Still crinkles like crazy and keeps her happy. And her 1-year old cousin is determined to take him home with her, so he's popular with older kids too.
