I saw info online to make your own of these, but I chose to just buy one to save my time since there was not much difference in price. The item is cheap plastic, but it still seems to work as intended. My child likes using it. I got it to help focus on listening to her own voice when sounding out words. If nothing else, it makes her really focus on her job at the moment. I would buy it again!
