The audio works well, although I wanted to focus on the video since we're talking about an LCD screen here. I did my best to get the highest quality video, but the LCD screen isn't showing well, but in a well let room it's relatively easy to see. The LCD screen can be adjusted with a contrast button and the audio can also be adjusted. I actually made 4 videos prior to this one, but they were all too long, so I was a bit frustrated while trying to show off this product getting high video quality.
Activities include division, adding and subtracting with regrouping. On many of the activities, the laptop will ask you if you prefer an easy, medium or hard level. Spelling is also an activity that is highly targeted.
My personal experience with Oregon Scientific is a good one, because the Superman computer that I've owned for 5 years still works well, and has lasted through all the drops, spills etc. The Superman computer still still works well to this day.
I highly recommend this for a school teacher who needs an additional reinforcer for those students that finish their work quickly when a computer isn't available. Also noteworthy, is that the batteries last a long time with this laptop.

I like the design of the notebook. However the actual screen is a MAJOR dissapointment. My son has to really lean forward in order to see the tiny letters and character. It is like a joke! We got this for our son's 5th birthday. He was so excited to have a "laptop" to keep in his play office. It looks really cool on the outside and very real on the inside. That's kind of where the fun ended for him. There are a lot of different games to play but only a few were age appropriate. My seven year old would be able to play them all but has no interest because it is a dot screen and who wants that when there are apps?!
