We got this as a gift. It was a cool idea but the book has poor explanations and directions. We needed to supplement with online research for the experiments.

My daughter is 5 and wanted to learn more about Physics. This kit was very age appropriate and the book had great explanations. Being an engineer, I thought this taught the material but in a simple way for her to understand. The pieces were also easy for her to put together and take apart. I'll buy more in this series.

This is a very cool educational toy.

Pros:

It has various projects available to teach physics concepts

It's fun and allows for parent-kid collaboration

Good price

Cons:

The small pieces are kind of hard to pull apart from the other structures --specially for a 6yr old--.

Other than that... Excellent !

but it's a bit on the cheap side. Still, my five year old daughter enjoyed participating very much, and it did help to reinforce the simple machines lessons we'd been reading about.

I like the science projects that this company has and my son has enjoyed many of them. THis was for my nephew who is 5 and I think it is just the right level. All the pieces are sturdy and kids can plan and build and create--Great for getting kids to be creative! Excellent delivery too!!! thank you very much!
